The Plant Based Diva Brand is the love child of my passion for health and fitness and my love for cooking.
I have been overweight most of my life, and I discovered that I lost the most weight and feel my best when consuming a plant-based diet. I then made the decision to educate others about it.
Meals2Go is my meal-prep service offered every week in the DMV area.
I love all types of cuisine, but Southern & Cajun/Creole food (with a little splash of Tex-Mex) are near and dear to me. That’s what I grew up cooking with my dad. I’m a Texas girl with a multicultural background. My father was from Houston with roots in Louisiana and my mother is from San Antonio (hence the Tex-Mex). My dad pulled me into the kitchen and began to teach me to cook when I was about 10 or 11 years old, and I cooked my first full meal for the family at 12. The kitchen has been my happy place ever since.
I’m passionate about health and fitness, yet cooking and baking are my first love. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my love with you.
